Mt. Shasta Summit

Ready to summit?

Embark on a 3-day guided journey to summit the majestic Mt. Shasta via its stunning and less-traveled West Face route. Beginning at Bunny Flat, you’ll follow our experienced guides along the iconic Avalanche Gulch trail, with an overnight stop at the historic Sierra Club Hut.

From there, the adventure truly begins. We’ll traverse through Hidden Valley, a serene campsite tucked between towering peaks, offering panoramic views of Shastina, Mt. Shasta, and the distant Trinity Alps. This secluded location sets the stage for an unforgettable alpine experience.

On summit day, we’ll tackle the West Face, a steady, scenic climb gaining nearly 3,000 feet of elevation. This route provides a quieter, more serene alternative to the heavily trafficked Avalanche Gulch, with equally rewarding vistas and an exhilarating summit push.

Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat or a new alpine challenge, the West Face ascent offers a unique opportunity to connect with Mt. Shasta’s awe-inspiring landscape in a more intimate way.
